THE SLEEPING BAG PUFFER

Circular apparel design is the most rewarding design form. Nothing has challenged me more creatively and fueled my soul as much as when I am reimagining someone else's discard trash into wearable functional pieces. Giving life back to a once desired item that no longer serves it's purpose gives me the power to think outside of the box allowing for longevity and minimizes waste. Less items in a landfill and more unique one-of-a-kind repurposed pieces should be where the fashion industry is headed.

Here is one of the pieces I just got done designing! How many people can say they made and wear tested their puffer jacket on a 14'er? It absolutely passed the test - I was so warm and cozy the entire time. I turned an old discarded The North Face Aleutian 20 sleeping bag into my new puffer jacket! What a rewarding, challenging, and soul fueling project!
